Beloved comedian Tony Knight has tragically passed away after an accident at a music festival in France. The incident occurred last month at the Rock & Cars festival in Lavaur, where a large tree limb fell suddenly, striking Tony and others. Despite his excellent health and fitness, the accident claimed his life at age 54.

Tony was cherished by his partner Hayley, family, and friends. Known for his charm, humor, and passion, he brought laughter to many globally. French authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, which left him seriously injured before he passed.

Aside from comedy, Tony was a major advocate for animal welfare and an expert in canine communication, leading workshops like “Mad Dogs and an Englishman” across Australia and Europe. He had plans for more classes and a UK comedy tour.

His acting credits include roles in "The Legend of Awesomest Maximus" (2011), "The Saxon Chronicles" (2006), and "Unicorn City" (2012). Though Australian-based, he lived his last four years on a farm in Beaufort, France with Hayley, sharing nearly 15 years of love and laughter.

To support funeral and hospital expenses, Hayley Wright created a GoFundMe that has raised over $8,000 of its $20,000 goal. She may choose to scatter Tony’s ashes in France, where many cherished memories were made.

Tony Knight’s unique comedic talent and compassionate spirit leave a lasting legacy for all who knew him or enjoyed his work.
