In the summer, the grass grows faster than ever. But how often do you actually have to mow to keep a perfect lawn?
How often do you mow?
- In hot and humid weather: twice a week. Grass grows faster when it's warm and humid.
- In dry and hot weather: Once a week Leave the grass a little longer (about 5 cm) to prevent it from drying out.
- In late summer: Every 10 days is often enough.
Mow like a pro
- Never cut more than a third of the length at once.
- Change the mowing direction to prevent bald spots.
- Mow preferably in the evening so that the grass does not burn in the sun.
A sleek lawn requires some attention, but the result is worth it: a lovely soft carpet to walk on!
